What we collect, and why
If you sign up for email
We keep your email address and which film page you signed up from. We use it only to tell you when a new film is out. We never sell or share it. Every email will have a way to leave the list, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
If you send us a name, a correction or a story
We keep what you wrote, the name and email you chose to give (both optional), and a hashed, day-scoped version of your internet address so we can slow down spam. That hash cannot be turned back into your address. We read every submission. We may quote it in a film or on this site, crediting you by the name you gave unless you ask us not to; we never publish your email.
If you record how a name is said, the recording is stored privately. Only we can hear it, and it is published (for example, on a film's names list) only if we approve it. Ask us and we will delete it. The microphone is used only while you are recording, and only after your browser asks your permission.
Keeping out bots
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It usually runs invisibly; now and then it may ask you to tick a box. Cloudflare sees your browser's request to do that check. We also limit how often any one connection can send a form.
Everything else
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no advertising pixels. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn't follow you to other sites; it tells us which pages are read and roughly where visitors are, never who they are. If a link you followed carried a tag saying where it came from (for example, a QR code in one of our films), we keep that tag with your sign-up so we know which films bring people here. Videos load from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play. Maps load tiles from the US Geological Survey's National Map. Fonts are served from this site.
